christmas eve

Since Karen and Greg's has been moved back a night, and we do our Christmas Eve service at Highlands early in the week, we have started a new family tradition on Christmas Eve...finger foods, pjs, Christmas music and cookies and milk! It is so nice with all the rush of the holidays to have some time with just our family to enjoy each other and to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. Katelyn and I made cookies for Santa and we all pitched in with the finger foods. After leaving out the cookies and milk for Santa and a carrot for Rudolph, the kids hit the sack early and Santa was quick to get to work!
